What data do we collect?
ValueFactory shader.gay collects the following data when using a 'api.shader.gay' license activation endpoint:
- License key provided by the merchant of record during purchase of a product.
- Operating system name and version.
- IPv4 or IPv6 Address that was used to make the connection to the endpoint.
- Anonymous, SHA256 hashed and salted machine id, defined by the operating system.
- Anonymous, SHA256 hashed and salted email of the Unity account, if logged in.
- Email provided by the merchant of record that's associated with the license key.
- Version of the product.

How will we use your data?
- Provide a simple and convenient license key activation service.
- Detect license key sharing fraud.
- Detect license key leaks.
- Replicate it at various points in Hetzner's cloud infrastructure in order to allow our license server to function as well as act as a backup.
The data we collect is not sold or exchanged with any other party.
Third-Party Privacy Policies
This privacy policy only applies to services built by ValueFactory shader.gay.
We use merchant of record payment providers, Cloudflare and Hetzner; all of which have their own privacy policies and are not covered in this document.
